Do
Affiliate Sites Work?
Well of course affiliate
sites work and that is why
they have such a huge buzz,
but on the flip side if you
do not properly advertise
and maintain your affiliate
site it just will not bring
in any profit.
This argument has been going
on since the first MLM
program was established on
the internet. I personally
do not use affiliates in my
site nor do I belong to any
but they can offer many
great resources. One of the
advantages to MLM is the
linking structure that has
evolved from it. The reality
with Multi-Level-marketing
is the pyramid effect. They
base the concept on I help
you and you help me,
everyone that you help will
benefit me and so on. This
creates a chain effect, one
member links to the next
links to the next and as
this chain grows it becomes
a very effective way to draw
traffic to your site.
So affiliate sites allow you
to post products on your
site and through click bank
they take a percentage out,
or redirect to their site so
they can monitor the
transaction helping to keep
honesty. One of the hottest
affiliate programs now is
selling website templates.
These major affiliate
companies post java-script
or RSS feed on your website
automatically refreshing
itself for new content. And
once a user clicks on any of
the links it will redirect
the user to the affiliates
main website tracking the
user through cookies. So
once the user actually
purchases the website
template you pull in a
profit which you are sent on
a pre-determined time
(usually quarterly)
